Then now’s your chance to get involved, get inspired, do it together – join the English-speaking Clean Home EcoTeams group of the Conscious Consumers Association in Budapest!
A few people, a few weeks, a lot of inspiration
Clean Home EcoTeams is a highly successful programme in Hungary and internationally. You can
- learn in a small group, through personal experience
- learn how to clean in a healthier and more environmentally friendly way
- learn how to avoid unnecessary spending and rubbish,
- you can even make new, like-minded friends.
Who makes up an EcoCircle?
- 5-8 participants interested in green living
- 1 group leader
- the language of the group will be English

Clean Home Ecoteams do not offer ready-made solutions, but shows you individual solutions within your own means.
Participants get together in groups of 5-8 people for 5 weeks to try out different environmental and health-conscious tricks and get into the routine of green cleaning.
A group leader will help them, and they will receive a starter kit, a workbook, a newsletter and they will have each other’s help too.
You will get plenty of tips, ideas and encouragement from the others and your group leader to keep you on the path to greening.
What will you get at the EcoTeams?
The starter pack includes:
- English-language workbook
- sticker to label your cleaning products’ containers
The group will also receive and distribute:
- 2 kg of washing soda
- 2 kg of baking soda
- 1 kg citric acid
- 1 kg spot-cleaning salt
- 2 bars of beef soap

– you want to reduce your and your family’s health burden from cleaning products;
– want to keep your home cleaner and healthier for the same amount of money;
– you don’t want your bin to be full of cleaning product packaging and containers;
– you want to learn useful tips from others;
– you are happy to share your own experiences with others in a friendly group;
– can do this in a group where you can meet foreigners like you living in Hungary.
When, where?
Location: downtown Budapest, 10 minutes from Deák tér (we will send you the exact location after your registration).
Date of first meeting: 30. Oct. 18.00-20.00h (We will meet in the same place at the same time for 4 more consecutive weeks.)
Max. number of participants: 10.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
